Every Monday, sweep the past week's funding and M&A news in [market or space, e.g. fintech infrastructure, climate hardware]. Sources: TechCrunch, Crunchbase News, Axios deal recaps, and targeted Google News searches for '[space] funding' limited to the last 7 days. For each relevant deal: the company, what it does in one line, round size and stage, lead investors, and — most important — a 'why it matters' line connecting it to [my context, e.g. our roadmap, my coverage area, the competitive map]. Link the best writeup. Also flag adjacent signals worth knowing: acquisitions, shutdowns, big partnerships. Rank by relevance to me, not by deal size. Cap it at the 8 most relevant items, with one-liners for honorable mentions. Format as a brief I can forward: bold company names, tight bullets, under 400 words.
