Triage and label my Gmail inbox every morning
A labeled inbox and a short brief of what actually needs you today
Every morning, triage my Gmail inbox. Apply my rules: [describe your rules, e.g. label invoices 'Finance', label customer emails 'Customers', archive newsletters after noting anything important, leave personal mail untouched]. For each email that needs a decision or reply from me, leave it in the inbox and add it to your summary with one line on what it's asking and any deadline mentioned. Archive what's clearly noise per my rules — but never delete anything, never mark things read except what you archive, and never touch threads I've already replied to. Then give me a brief: emails needing action ranked by urgency, anything time-sensitive I might miss, a count of what you labeled and archived, and anything that didn't fit my rules so I can tell you how to handle that kind next time. When unsure, leave the email alone and flag it.
